Our Emergency Services

Fire Response

Rapid response to fires, ensuring the safety of lives and property.

Medical First Response

Five of our members hold a VT state EMS license and we assist Deerfield Valley Rescue with medical emergencies in our town.

Rescue Operations

Three members are Ice Rescue Technicians and all of our members are trained with auto extrication and stabilization equipment.

Disaster Response

We tackle flooded basements caused by intense rainstorms.

Community Education

We collaborate with our local school to educate children about fire prevention.

Mutual Aid

We assist neighboring communities in emergencies, receiving their support in return.

Stop by any of our regular scheduled training nights on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, call our station and leave a message, talk to an East Dover firefighter, or send us an email with the form at the bottom of the page! We would be happy to welcome you!

That's alright! EDVFD pays for all training to help you get certified as a Firefighter or Emergency Medical Provider.

We still need driver operators, EMTs, and support personnel! Support personnel assist with on scene firefighter rehab and other exterior tasks such as laddering a building, water supply, and traffic control.

Absolutely! We welcome volunteers who want to assist with event planning, set-up, and execution. Please contact us for more details.
